1955 Topps Double-Headers (Doubleheaders)
Baseball Cards Set checklist/info
Without a doubt my FAVORITE SET - PERIOD. Regular issue, test issues,
inserts ... whatever ... this is # 1 !!!
Similar to the early 1900's Mecca Double Folders, these colorful
2-1/16" x 4-7/8" cards are actually 2-cards-in-1 !
Perforated in the center, you can fold to create cards of 2
different players. Unperforated 1955 Topps DoubleHeaders exist.
All 132 players (66 cards) in the 1955 Topps DoubleHeaders set were also in
the regular 1955 Topps set, with the same action image.
NOTE: Laid side-by-side the cards form spectacular scenes
from actual stadiums !!!
Old-timers - can you identify the stadiums ?

Ways to sell your baseball cards
2 reasons auctions are popular way to sell vintage sports cards.
#1 Desirable items tend to get top dollar (or better !)
#2 Everything goes
... This can be good - Everything gone, happy with final total
... or can be very bad - Everything gone, but at super low prices
OTHER WAYS TO SELL YOUR CARDS
•eBay Buy-it-Now •card store •swap meet
•Craigslist •garage/yard sale
or •DONATE to a charity for tax write-off
Not selling but perhaps easiest with possible $$$ return.
ASSUMPTIONS:
#1) You are one of the RARE tax payers left in America
#2) You have mostly late 80's & 90's "junk"
Consider donating the "junk" and keep better stuff to sell later.
Tax deduction was based on LESSER of "what-it-cost" & "What-it's-Worth".
For "What-it's-Worth", I use Beckett which can be higher than what you paid.

1969-1970 Topps Basketball Cards
Checklist & Values
The 1969-1970 Topps Basketball set, (99) "Tall Boys" (a huge 2-1/2 x 4-11/16)
, sold in 10-card packs for 10 cents, was history making in card size
& players. WOW !!! Lew Alcindor's ROOKIE (later Kareem Abdul-Jabbar),
John Havlicek, Dave Bing, Earl the Pearl Monroe,
Bill Bradley, Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Elvin Hayes & more.
Brightly-colored "Rulers" were random inserts.
Delicate 2-1/2 x 9-7/8, printed on thin paper,
they featured a cartoon drawing and a ruler measuring
his height. Planned for 24, #5 Bill Russell was not issued.
