A "cachet" is a message or design on an envelope marking a postal event. "Full-color silk" refers to the delicate material into which the original art and photography are printed. After which each silk is applied to the envelope, signed by the player and then officially post-marked by the U.S. Post Office IN THE CITY OF THE EVENT !!!

Another Hit Topps Test Issue from the 1960's !!!
1962 Topps Bucks were one of Topps most creative Test Issues. Each 1-3/4" x 4-1/8" "Buck" resembled U.S. currency but instead of George Washington staring at you, it could be Mickey Mantle !!!

1962 Topps Bucks were sold in 1 cent wax packs and were NOT inserts in 1962 Topps wax packs. Most exist with a fold line witgh some unfolded proofs around. Set packed with Hall-of-Famers featuring MICKEY MANTLE, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, Roberto Clemente, Carl Yastrzemski, Stan Musial, Hank Aaron & more !!!

Use these great 1970 Action Films Inc. Super-8mm film cartridges in their original boxes to sharpen your sports skills !!!! Along with the film cartridge you also get the original box and coaching guide booklet. The boxes measure 6-1/2 x 2-3/4 x 1 inch. The cartridges are in like-new condition.

A 6x5 inch hand-held viewer was used to watch the films. The viewer's we have look to be in top shape and have not been used however all parts are present and in solid condition and likely only need a replacement light bulb.

Are sports cards valuable ?

Like all collectibles, over time some sports cards go down in value, others go up and some can even become very valuable. Card values are based on many factors: player popularity, scarcity, condition & collector interest. A card can be scarce but without demand value may not be great.

"Type Collecting"
is collecting at least one of each different "type" of issue. On scarcer issues you can add a less expensive common while on others you can select your favorite player or team.
