The 1959 Topps baseball card set continued Topps trend of more and more cards each year by adding nearly 100 cards to their 1958 issue bringing their largest set to date to 572 cards.

Neat oddball set with a very unusual mix of players. A promotional lead-in for "Cardboard Dreams" a soon to be sportscard magazine. Promo cards were given out at a few regional baseball card shows mostly in So. Cal.
MLB filed lawsuits against similar magazines and the magazine was cancelled before 1st issue leaving just a small run of promo cards (limited to 5,000) and some scarce proofs.

Use these great 1970 Action Films Inc. Super-8mm film cartridges in their original boxes to sharpen your sports skills !!!! Along with the film cartridge you also get the original box and coaching guide booklet. The boxes measure 6-1/2 x 2-3/4 x 1 inch. The cartridges are in like-new condition.

A 6x5 inch hand-held viewer was used to watch the films. The viewer's we have look to be in top shape and have not been used however all parts are present and in solid condition and likely only need a replacement light bulb.
