Hartland Baseball Statues & Figurines
Hartland produced it's first baseball statue back in the early 60's.
SCD calls the 1960's Mickey Mantle Hartland Statue the single most
popular plastic sports statue ever produced !
In 1988 Hartland released 25th Anniversary Editions, nearly
identical to the original.

Hartland later joined with Krause Publications, to create the SCD Authentic series - the original 18 in different poses. Hartland Figurines are amazingly beautiful and exquisitely detailed with painted pinstripes and wood grained bats.

In 1969, to commemorate Baseball's 100th Anniversary, CITGO released their
"Famous Baseball Player Coin Collection" of 20 brass coated metal coins.
On the front, the coins featured the player's name and a raised image of
his head. The back displayed a banner honoring baseball's s 100th Anniversary.
The coins are approx. 1" in diameter and are very susceptible to
tarnishing due to oxidation. 
Pictured is an unopened pack containing one coin.

Topps has tried many crazy products, called "test issues".
Mostly distributed in limited areas, test issues were scarce.
"Candy Lids" were little tubs of candy with player's photos on
bottom of a 1-7/8" lid. 10 cents/tub, 24 tubs/box. 
1970 Topps Candy Lids were called "Baseball Stars Bubble Gum",
had 24 players, the 1973 Topps Candy Lids had 55. 
Topps 1973 Pinups & Comics share many of the same photos. A: There is a wide variety of storage supplies available to help you keep your cardsin the best condition possible. They range from hard thick acrylic screw-down holders to "penny" soft sleeves for individual cards to cardboard boxes that can hold from 100 cards upto "monster boxes" that hold more than 5,000 sportscards.
